Can you believe it has been more than a month since the sun shone on a bustling Henham Park, teeming with theatre, comedy, dance and more? We’re missing the festival, so we’ve put together a list of Latitude favourites who are currently on tour. See you there!

THEATRE & CIRCUS:

Circa: Humans 2.0

Circa: Humans 2.0

A stand out of this year’s circus programme, Circa brought us a breathtaking symphony of acrobatics, sound, and light. The intensity and beauty of Humans 2.0 had us all mesmerised, and, for those in Scotland, there’s another chance to see it after a run of 5* reviews at the Fringe.

Luke Wright

Luke Wright’s Latitude shows are never anything short of spectacular, and this year’s Joy! delved into the idea of joy, family, and the magic of language. His performance was a heartfelt exploration of life’s ups and downs, and the audience was left uplifted and inspired. If you missed this poetic journey and have seen the 5* reviews from the Edinburgh Fringe, or want to experience it again, Luke is continuing his tour this autumn.

An Evening Without Kate Bush

What a joyous celebration of Kate Bush’s music this was! An Evening Without Kate Bush had us all howling with the Hounds of Love and dancing on the moors. Sarah-Louise Young’s homage to one of music’s most influential voices was a highlight at Latitude. We know that many of you missed the show at Latitude, and we cannot recommend it more.

Poetry was a big deal at Latitude this year, with the Waterfront Stage being opened by our inaugural Young Poet competition winner, Anna. The poetic energy stayed strong with Dr. John Cooper Clarke, a beloved friend of the festival, who graced us with snippets from his new collection, WHAT. But don’t worry if you missed it—you can catch more of his razor-sharp wit on tour this autumn.

Laura Murphy: A Spectacle of Herself

Laura Murphy’s daring performance at Latitude was nothing short of mesmerising. A Spectacle of Herself blends autobiography, acrobatics, and queer politics in a way that’s both powerful and empowering. See Laura live as she continues her tour.

Rosy Carrick

Rosy Carrick’s candid exploration of sex and relationships was a refreshing and thought-provoking highlight at Latitude. Her raw and witty performance left the audience both laughing and reflecting.

DANCE:

Ekleido: SPLICE

Ekleido: SPLICE

Ekleido’s SPLICE left Latitude audiences in awe with its intricate choreography and bold physicality. This innovative dance performance is now on tour, giving you another opportunity to witness their artistic brilliance.

London City Ballet

London City Ballet

It was an absolute treat to witness the return of London City Ballet at Latitude. Their performances, blending the best of British ballet with contemporary dance, captivated the audience on the banks of the Waterfront. This revival of the London City Ballet is not to be missed as they continue their tour.

Jasmin Vardimon Company’s JV2: Tomorrow

Jasmin Vardimon Company’s JV2 stunned Latitude audiences with their vibrant and powerful dance performance. Tomorrow is a celebration of some of Vardimon’s favourite moments, and you can catch this remarkable show as it tours the UK.

Yuck Circus

A Special Shout-Out to Yuck Circus

They weren’t part of this year’s lineup, but we couldn’t end without giving a nod to YUCK Circus, who wowed us all at Latitude 2023. Imagine Flight of the Conchords meets Cirque du Soleil – this crew of elite acrobatic gals flips double standards on their head, with high-flying acrobatics and absurd confessions. An ode to all things Aussie, this show is guaranteed to leave you in stitches.

If you missed them last year, don’t fret! They’ll be bringing their rip-roaring performance to the Underbelly Festival in London from August 28th to September 8th.
