Esme Emerson

Drawing comparisons to Big Thief and Slow Pulp, their music is characterised by gentle melodies and a careful balance of both electronic and organic elements. Earmarked as ones to watch by The Face magazine and starring in Dr Martens recent Lunar New Year campaign, Esme Emerson recently released their debut singles ‘Please’ and ‘Show You (Truck Song)’ through Communion Records which landed praise from the likes of Dazed, i-D, NME and The Line of Best Fit. Their forthcoming EP, ‘Big Leap, No Faith, Small Chancer’ is accompanied by artwork painted by Esme, and a series of visualisers which lend from the pair’s shared love of visuals and literature.
