Described as “the future of a cappella” by Deke Sharon, music-director and arranger of ‘Pitch Perfect’ and with sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe for two consecutive years, The Bristol Suspensions are the University of Bristol’s 14-piece, mixed collegiate A Cappella group.

Having won the 2024 Solevoci A Cappella Festival in May this year, making them international champions of A cappella, the group are known for their stunning vocals, slick choreography, and that signature shade of maroon! The Suspensions have achieved a stunning set of accolades over the past decade, including winning the ICCA UK Finals in 2021, the Voice Festival in 2016 and becoming international champions in the IIAF in 2019.

Their CARA Award-Winning Album ‘Red Hot’ demonstrates the group’s eclectic genre-range, including pop, jazz, rap and soul. More than anything the group are known for bringing passion, excitement and electricity to all of their performances. They can’t wait to bring this energy to Latitude Festival 2024!
