Essential Chvrches Collaborations

Chvrches recently teamed up with dance music giant Marshmello on new track, ‘Here With Me’, but this isn’t the first time the synth-pop trio have collaborated with another artist.

We’ve curated the Essential Chvrches Collaborations for you to discover the eclectic array of artists the Glasgow band have worked with in the past.

Take a look and listen to the tracks below and start counting down the days until you can watch Chvrches live this summer in the Obelisk Arena at Latitude 2019.

1. ‘Bury It’ – Hayley Williams

Paramore singer Hayley Williams joined the band on this rock tinged single from their second album, ‘Every Open Eye’. The infectious track was accompanied by an animated video featuring the band and Hayley as superheroes, illustrated by comic book artist Jamie McKelvie.

2. ‘MY ENEMY’ – MATT BERNINGER

The second single taken from their most recent album ‘Love Is Dead’, ‘My Enemy’ features guest vocals from Matt Berninger of The National. “We’ve all been huge fans of The National for a long time,” vocalist Lauren Mayberry told NME.

3. ‘MIRACLE’ – BBC SCOTTISH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Last month, for the launch of new TV channel BBC Scotland, Chvrches teamed up with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra for a very special performance of ‘Miracle’. The band and orchestra provided an audio-visual feast for viewers in the first transmission of the new channel.

4. ‘HERE WITH ME’ – MARSHMELLO

EDM producer Marshmello called on Chvrches to feature on his latest dance smash ‘Here With Me’. The upbeat pop ballad from this unexpected team combines acoustic guitars and Lauren’s shimmering vocals with a dance beat that’s guaranteed to get you moving.

5. ‘NORTHERN LIGHTS’ – DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE

Lauren provided backing vocals for the track ‘Northern Lights’ on Death Cab’s latest album ‘Thank You For Today’. This isn’t the first time the two have collaborated – in 2016 she joined the band on stage for a performance of ‘Brothers On A Hotel Bed’.

Don’t miss the stunning sounds of Chvrches at Latitude Festival this summer. They’ll join headliners George Ezra, Stereophonics and Lana Del Rey in beautiful Henham Park on 18th-21st July.
