For over 55 years Brook has been empowering young people to take control of their sexual health and enjoy healthy relationships. They will now be bringing their expertise to Latitude, helping ensure that festival goers can enjoy themselves responsibly.
Brook staff will be in the Village every day from 9am to 9pm to provide free condoms and answer questions around contraception, STIs and safer sex. Latitude will also be helping promote Brook’s consent campaign over the weekend by displaying messages about consent on screens in between acts.
“We’re really excited to be working with Festival Republic on this innovative project to reach even more young people with information, education and advice around sexual health and wellbeing.
Whether you’re a seasoned festival goer or attending for the first time, we want to ensure you are supported to enjoy your time safely. Practising safer sex is a simple way to keep you and your partner healthy and minimise any unnecessary worry that could detract from your time at Latitude.
We’re also taking this opportunity to make sure everyone is able to feel comfortable and safe at the festival by sharing clear messaging and information about consent over the course of the weekend”.
