Have you ever wondered how festivals come to life? If you become a Latitude volunteer you’ll find out as you’ll see behind-the-scenes at Henham Park and be a vital part of the Latitude 2019 team.
WHY VOLUNTEER AT LATITUDE 2019
Volunteering is a great way to gain valuable experience for your CV whilst getting to enjoy Latitude 2019. Alongside helping festival goers to have an unforgettable time, you’ll have spare time to make friends for life as part of the volunteering team and watch spellbinding performances.
Plus, you’ll have the option of dressing as a pixie for the whole weekend and who doesn’t want to be a full-time pixie!
WHAT WOULD I DO AS A VOLUNTEER?
As a volunteer with Hotbox Events your priority at Latitude 2019 will be making sure festival-goers get the most out of their weekend. These are some of other things you could do as a volunteer:
- Providing information including directions, facilities, and performances, to ensure the festival goers have the best weekend possible.
- Working in the festival’s campsites, arenas, on gates, fire towers, and wristband exchanges.
- Being proactive and alert to any potential problems e.g. a build-up of litter or faulty facilities.
- Promoting crime awareness and crime prevention to the public.
- Helping festival goers carry their belongings and pitch their tents.
- Working with onsite teams to ensure medical, fire and security issues are dealt with promptly and safely.
- Helping to prevent overcrowding and on hand to monitor crowd safety.
- Assisting the public to create an environment where they feel safe.
